Got Questions about God?
No matter how bad the storms of life may seem and no matter how far away from God you may feel right now, there is Good News! God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life! Consider these words: “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thought of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) That is right, God is thinking good thoughts toward you this very moment---thoughts of peace to give you hope and a future! Jesus came to this earth as a our Light and means of salvation: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJV) The good news is that God loves you in spite of your sin or situation and He cares for your soul! You do not have to perish! He has made a way for you to be saved and receive everlasting life!
How can you receive His salvation right now? Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) declares, “if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
In other words, you must believe in your heart and confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord. You can do this by praying the following simple prayer. Praying this prayer, mixed with faith, can activate the new birth in your life:
Dear God, I humble myself and confess that I am a sinner. I acknowledge that I have sinned against You. I repent of my sins and evil ways and call upon Your mercy to save me. I believe in my heart that Jesus died on the cross for me, was buried, and rose again. I ask and receive Your forgiveness right now by faith. I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and accept Him into my life as my personal Lord and Savior. From this moment on I belong to You. Take my life and use me as a vessel for Your glory. Thank You Lord for saving me. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
